The Kitsap County Association of REALTORS® is a trade organization founded in 1919 to serve homeowners in Kitsap County.  The Association has grown significantly with membership of approximately 535 REALTORS® and 40 Affiliate companies.

Under the leadership of an elected Board of Directors, Mike Eliason serves as the Association’s Executive Officer and Government Affairs Director.

The Kitsap County Association of REALTORS® is a trade organization whose primary members are licensed real estate professionals.  As a member of the local association, each REALTOR® also belongs to the Washington Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®.

There are 535 REALTOR® members in Kitsap REALTORS®, 14,000 members of Washington REALTORS®, and one million members of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Membership in the REALTOR® Association is voluntary and open to active real estate licensees in the state of Washington.  In addition, there are approximately 40 companies offering services to real estate practitioners are affiliate members of Kitsap REALTORS®.  Members may take advantage of many of the programs and services offered to REALTOR® members.

All REALTORS® subscribe to and uphold a strict Code of Ethics that governs their business practices in all real estate transactions.

The term “REALTOR®” is a licensed collective trademark which may be used only by members of the National Association of REALTORS® and its local associations.

Objectives of the Association
To unite those engaged in the recognized branches of the real estate profession for the purpose of exerting a beneficial influence upon the profession and related interests.

To promote and maintain high standards of conduct in the real estate profession as expressed in the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

To provide a unified medium for real estate owners and those engaged in the real estate profession whereby their interests may be safeguarded and advanced.

To further the interests of home and other real property ownership.

To unite those engaged in the real estate profession in this community with the Washington Association of REALTORS® and the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, thereby furthering their own objectives throughout the state and nation, and obtaining the benefits and privileges of membership therein.

To designate, for the benefit of the public, individuals authorized to use the terms REALTOR® and REALTORS® as licensed, prescribed, and controlled by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
